Welcome Post

I don't think there's a whole lot I can say about myself. I spend all of my free time playing video games, reading, or napping. I enjoy diet coke and taco bell, and can eat more burritos than might be appropriate for someone of my small size. But I do it anyways. You can't stop me. I'M GONNA EAT THAT BURRITO. NOTHING WILL HOLD ME BACK.

I've always enjoyed reading more than writing (always the consumer, never the producer). It's been an escapism tactic for me since... well, since I could read. Dragons and magic and the kings and queens of old are a lot more interesting than reality, and a good distraction from all the bad things. I spent last year powering through the Game of Thrones series and can no longer get excited by any other fantasy writing. I eagerly await the next book in the series (but at the pace they've been released, I don't think I'll read it until I'm on my death bed). I have two favorite writers, Oscar Wilde and Neil Gaiman. I've devoured all of their work, and no matter how much I reread it, I still love it and discover something new.

I guess I could describe my writing style here, too. Or try to. I ramble and use too many adjectives. I like to pretend I weave these beautiful and magical characters and landscapes, but all I ever really do is bury any content under a pile of adjectives. I'm sure I'll get over that eventually.

That's it, methinks.

Cheers.
Chloe
